Etienne showed grit in yet another record-setting performance

Top-ranked Clemson struggled in the first three quarters in its 47-21 win over Syracuse on Saturday.

The Tigers looked sluggish and uninspired for much of the contest but found a will to win at the end of the game.

Travis Etienne had a hitch in his giddy-up throughout the game and left the game in the third quarter for examination in the locker room. But the senior running back returned to the game and fought his way into the endzone for a pair of touchdowns in the fourth quarter to put the game on ice.
