Grant OK
Jakeem Grant cleared concussion protocol, Texas Tech coach Kliff Kingsbury said, after the slot receiver took a shot to the head from 296-pound noseguard Demond Tucker in the fourth quarter. Kingsbury said Grant could have gone back in had the game been closer.
Grant caught nine passes for a career-high 166 yards and two touchdowns in the Red Raiders’ 66-31 home victory Saturday against Iowa State.

Reginald Davis had a 33-yard touchdown among his three catches, but sophomore Ja’Deion High started in Grant’s spot at flanker.
